![]() ![]() Again, did not complain, as I felt like I was inconveniencing them. ARCADE: Coin machine was not working, and a few of the games took your money. The one time that I did (lotion in room was open when we checked in and also had a hair sticking out of the cap) all they said was "oh, okay". I felt like I was inconveniencing the front desk every time I was down there, so never brought up the issues I had. In the evening, when guests called down for blankets, it looked like the front desk gal had to take care of this, leaving nobody behind the front desk. There were times when I would see lines of 5 or more at the front desk and only one employee. The biggest area that needs attention is the Front Desk. I spend many days/nights in hotels throughout the year, and they definitely need to work on service. Most hotels have corkscrews at the front desk that you can loan out or even keep. I found it strange that I was sent to the restaurant to get a corkscrew. ![]() She was a bit hesitant to loan out her "last corkscrew". I finally decided just wander around to find an employee and ended up talking to the bartender. I stood at the host stand for about five minutes without a single employee even greeting me. The waterslide attendants were leaning back in their seats and had to be asked if it was okay to go down the slide or not (I don't know how they time things when it is busy) RESTAURANT: Did not dine in here but was sent to the restaurant to get a corkscrew. Staff in the waterpark seemed to all be of High School age and also acted like it too. The showers are right inside of the entry way and within eyes view of mothers hollering in for their kids. Another item that I did not like was the lack of privacy in the locker room. I struggled to shower in the men's locker room after checking out because of how filthy the showers were! It honestly looked like the showers hadn't been cleaned for months on end. Cleanliness in the waterpark was definitely lacking. There is no deep section were you can swim laps, only 3-3 1/2' water throughout. I understand that the waterpark is aimed for kids and definitely not adults such as myself, but I honestly questioned whether my 8 year old nephew would enjoy it if he were along. WATER PARK: I honestly did not know what to expect for their water park. You cannot even see the TV from the whirlpool. Typically, in suites they have larger TVs, not here! They have a small (maybe) 32" TV sitting on the dresser. Also, the TV in the whirlpool suite was the smallest TV I have ever seen in a Suite. This soap was definitely not the long hair found on top of ones head either. Housekeeping staff missed a pile of bugs that were sitting on the window sill (gross), bugs under the bed (gross), A LOT of dust around the room itself, and the worst, HAIR in the sink & little soap holder. While looking around the room, I found that the rom itself needed some extra cleaning. The room itself was spacious (we had a whirlpool room) and overlooked the golf course. ROOM: When we got to the room my initial thought was that the room was a bit outdated for price tag on the room. Check-in process was on the slower side as there was only one Guest Service Representative at the Front Desk. ![]() That was definitely a nice (but never expected). We arrived before the scheduled check-in time and our room was ready.
